• Travers,

Found your site today. Congradulations on your success. Still pickin' my banjo, enjoying God and family. See ya around sometime...

      God Bless,

      Randy

    • Great sound! If you're looking at any new material I have a Bluegrass/Country/Gospel website: www.blue-joemusic.com/ Thanks !

    • Really enjoy your sad songs, saw you several times with Dan Paisley and last years at OATS... I started researching Charlie Moore a couple years ago, last year I made a trip to Ohio for some unfortunate business, crossing the Ohio at 5 a.m. I couldn't get the song Wheeling off my mind, that song just tears me up

    • Terry is worth his weight in gold....and he weighs a LOT! Way to go Terrance. You make me proud!

    • Your music is GREAT!! With Jessica being part of this band it is a sure winner!!

Hope to see you when you are in Wyoming in July of next year! It will be wonderful to see, and, hopefully, talk to you in person again, Jessica!!

      Keep up the great work!!

    • Hi Avery, Y'all sound great, keep the good music commin'. I share your admiration and appreciation for the music of the legendary Charlie Moore, he was amazing! My honky tonk band does a cover of his great song "It's Gonna Be A Long Long Night". All the best to you and the band.

    • Travers, you play the "real" Bluegrass - thank you. We met you in 2009 (you were playing with Dan Paisley at Gettysburg)& talked at length about Charlie Moore as he is an all-time hero to us too. This year we were over from England at Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival. That festival is made for your type of hard-edged, emotional Bluegrass. You should play there some time, hopefully when we return (eventually) so we can get to meet you again & see Avery County 'live'.

    • Travers,

Your piece on Billy C was very nicely done. He is a beautiful guy and I want to thank you. JP

    • Would love to hear you play in person. Get a Nashville gig!

    • Hi from Down Under! Just want you to know that we love "The Stanley Brothers" song and hope it will be on your next CD. We've seen Ralph several times - he's the epitome of good mountain music and so are you. We can't get to the U.S. this year but we'll be at the IBMA awards next year and we won't be surprised if Avery County are winners. Hope so! Hope to catch up with you somewhere over there next year! Brenda and Derek.
