Really enjoy your sad songs, saw you several times with Dan Paisley and last years at OATS... I started researching Charlie Moore a couple years ago, last year I made a trip to Ohio for some unfortunate business, crossing the Ohio at 5 a.m. I couldn't get the song Wheeling off my mind, that song just tears me up

Hi Avery, Y'all sound great, keep the good music commin'. I share your admiration and appreciation for the music of the legendary Charlie Moore, he was amazing! My honky tonk band does a cover of his great song "It's Gonna Be A Long Long Night". All the best to you and the band.

Travers, you play the "real" Bluegrass - thank you. We met you in 2009 (you were playing with Dan Paisley at Gettysburg)& talked at length about Charlie Moore as he is an all-time hero to us too. This year we were over from England at Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival. That festival is made for your type of hard-edged, emotional Bluegrass. You should play there some time, hopefully when we return (eventually) so we can get to meet you again & see Avery County 'live'.
